Six Moons Designs "Deschutes" tarp tent.  Thermarest Xtherm + Z-Lite Sol = R value of 8.0.

Day 2.  Headed deeper into Kinder Scout, then worked back West and joined the Pennine Way.  Plan now beginning to form.  Using the path, I could spend the day getting northward, then spend the next 3 days circling back round to the East and back to Hayfield.

LNT.  Good to go.

True summit of Kinder Scout or was it?

Good time for a cuppa.

Kinder Downfall.

Joined the Pennine Way.  Kinder Reservoir below.

Manchester in the distance.

Slabbed path over Featherbed Moss.

Kinder Scout from North.

Over Snake Pass and heading towards Bleaklow.

Hern Clough.

Glorious weather.

Bleaklow Head.  From here I followed the stakes East.
Camped near Bleaklow Hill.

Procuring water with my new MSR Guardian Purifier.

Really loved this remote camp spot.  Gonna camp here again one day.

Intermittent posts act as a guide across Bleaklow.

 Day 3. Weather still fantastic.

Spies everywhere!

Day 4.  Realised mid morning that Stanage Edge was within my range to visit.

Cold morning.

Lost Lad viewpoint, with Back Tor behind.

Back Tor.

View South from Back Tor trig point.

Cakes of Bread.

Dovestone Tor.

View atop Derwent Edge to the Salt Cellar.

Wheel Stones

Stanage Edge.

Mill Stones were quarried and made here in times past. Many still lie around.

Stanage is now famous for its climbing. Saw a few out today.

Bamford.

How could I possibly resist?

2 x Bacon, sausage and egg baps, with a pint of Doombar.

Bamford church.

Bamford Mill and the River Derwent again.

The climb up Win Hill was arduous.

Ladybower Reservoir from Win Hill trig point.

Top of Win Hill.

Camped out below Win Hill.  Thought I'd make use of this wall as a windbreak.

Day 5.  Walked up to the high ground, south of the Vale of Edale, then down into Edale for lunch, followed by another ascent back up to the Kinder Scout area to tie up some lose ends.  The circle was complete.  Time to gtfo.

Frosty.

The town of Hope with it's cement works in background.

The ascent up Lose Hill was very cheeky.

Lose Hill viewpoint.

Vale of Edale.

Path up to Man Tor.

Mam Tor trig point.

The Penny Pot Café.

Bottom of Jacobs Ladder.

The ladder was harsh, but Lose Hill was worse.

Back at the car in Hayfield.

It had been a glorious trip!
